His 11-year-old daughter, Lauren, was flown to a hospital in Manila after suffering from severe lung problems caused by a virus, on top of asthma, in December 2024. While she was hospitalised to treat the virus and stabilise her asthma, doctors discovered an additional, urgent challenge — a brain tumor that required immediate attention.

At the time, Lauren was too weak to undergo treatment. A follow-up MRI in March revealed that the tumor had grown. She now urgently needs surgery.

The costs of surgery, care, and ongoing treatment are rising quickly. In the Philippines, medical transfers and extensive medical care are expensive and not covered by insurance.

Delta Marine Crewing and Multraship have already contributed € 17,000 to ensure that Lauren’s treatment could begin without delay.
