2nd officer Cement Carrier

Merchant shipping Worldwide 4-6 months ASAP

2nd officer wanted on board of a cement carrier.
As the second officer you will be assisting the Chief officer during loading and discharging in the most safe and efficient possible manner.
You will be responsible for navigation, voyage planning and maintenance of the FFE, LSA, navigation equipment and make sure that charts are up to date.
The vessel is trading worldwide and you will be working in a mxied crew of different nationalities.

 

Requirements:

  • Valid STCW certificates
  • COC officer in charge of a nvagiational watch
  • Excellent command of the English language

Experience:

  • Experience on similar vessels as a 3rd or 2nd officer is mandatory
