Merchant shipping Worldwide 3 months on, 3 months off ASAP

Chief officer with extensive experience needed.

The vessel is transporting a wide variety of cargoes in a worldwide trading area. You will work for a prestigious Dutch shipping company with a wide variety of vessel types. As Chief Officer on board you are the person to make and monitor proper executions of the stowage plans. You will make sure the vessels maintenance is executed according to the high standards of our client. The crew on board is formed of multiple nationalities, the officers are mostly EU-citizens.

Requirements:

  • Certificate of competence of Chief Officer > 3000 GT
  • All training certificates up to date and in compliance with STCW’10
  • Experience on general cargo vessels
  • Experiencce on geared vessels is a plus
  • You must be eligible to obtain a Dutch endorsement for your rank
