Second Officer Yacht Transport

You will join a Dutch, well equiped, vessel of a respected Dutch shipping company. The cargo will be loaded by the crew, so experience on geared vessels is a plus. The stowage, loading and discharge plans will be made on board by the chief officer and during the cargo operations you will make sure everything goes according to plan. When the cargo is loaded you will monitor and assist with the proper lashing of it.

Besides proper execution of the cargo plans you will be responsible for the voyage planning, safety and firefighting equipment. The third officer will assist you in these routine jobs.
